"Tightening the accounts of activists and journalists on social media platforms"

Unprecedented limitations have been placed on a number of social media personalities who have backed the Palestinian cause and openly sided with Israel against the Palestinians. Posts that expose the truth about Zionist atrocities and facts are removed by these platforms. The issue has gotten so bad that some are deleting or disabling their personal pages and limiting access. These platforms' algorithms are always at work stifling Palestinian content.

The European Union put pressure on technology corporations, threatening them with legal consequences, only days after the war began, demanding that they remove any content on social media sites that supported Palestinian resistance. Posts that included anything related to Palestinian content were removed using a unique algorithm.

Double standards of social media platforms:

Ukrainians' conflict with Russia was referred to as "resistance" by Meta, formerly known as Facebook. But because of this phrase, Palestinian posts were removed from the company's platforms because they were deemed "terrorist." A few platforms changed their algorithms and regulations to permit incitement against Russia for its aggression against Ukraine. Meta declared in March that it would permit modifications to its policies that would permit "violent messages" directed towards Russians. Furthermore, remarks and statements inciting hatred toward Palestinians are frequently seen in Hebrew. Despite this, the posts are left up without being removed or altered.
