The name "Zionism" comes from Mount "Zion," which is mentioned in the Jewish sacred book (the Torah). But since the majority of the Zionist movement's founders, including Herzl, Rothschild, and others, were secular, the movement's objectives were not exclusively religious. It is known that for over a millennium, they searched for a Jewish national homeland to bring them together from the diaspora.

Furthermore, the Zionists depended on using religion to instill Jewish nationalism. They started pushing for immigration to Palestine, saying that, despite the fact that the majority of its population is Jewish and mostly consists of Muslims and Christians, it is the sacred country that God had promised them in the Torah.

Furthermore, it is well known that over 5,000 years ago, Canaanite Arabs were the first people to settle in Palestine. Following Saladin's liberation of Palestine, Muslims governed the region for more than 1200 years in recent history. Christians, Jews, and Muslims all lived side by side in safety and harmony at this time.

Additionally, Palestine was ruled by Islam for the last time during the Ottoman Empire, which lasted until 1917 when the British took over Jerusalem. The Muslim population at that time made up about 85% of the overall population, followed by Christians (around 10%) and Jews (less than 5%).

And Theodor Herzl called the first Zionist Congress at the Basel Conference in Switzerland in 1897, marking the beginning of the Zionist movement. One of the conference's goals was to promote Jewish immigration to Palestine.

2. Getting Jews organized and involved in the Zionist movement.

3. Theodor Herzl founded a transnational Zionist organization.

Given all of these details, we must ask how the Zionists, who made up less than 5% of the native population in Palestine before the British mandate, can claim a state there.
