The primary cause of the Palestinian Nakba (catastrophe) was the planned Jewish migration to the country of Palestine. Driven by Zionist ideology, which declared the captured country to be their sole sacred land and insisted on driving out the native Arab occupants, they came from all over the world.

The Zionists exploited the division of the Levantine provinces between Britain and France following the fall of the Ottoman Empire in World War II. Palestine was governed by the British, who promised the Jews in 1917 to build a state in the Arab nation, a pledge known as the "Balfour Declaration.

The Jews were allowed to create settlements in Arab cities like Haifa, Jaffa, Lod, Ramla, and others since Britain imposed its rule over Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, and Iraq. When 80% of the original residents were driven out, the Israelites eventually came to control these cities.

On the other hand, following a number of coordinated migration operations to Palestinian territory and the deliberate murder of the native population, the Jewish population increased from 10% in 1917 to almost 31% in 1947. Even so, just 8.8% of historical Palestine was Jewish property.

80% of historical Palestine was given to the Jews when the United Nations decided to divide Palestine into two states in 1947. This was prior to 1948, when the State of Israel was established on the rubble of the Palestinian Nakba.
