The Massacre of Mawasi

For the tenth consecutive month, the Nazi Zionist army is carrying out the crime of genocide, which is marked by the most heinous and severe acts of mass murder, starvation, thirst, detentions, torture, and uprooting of residents from their homes and places of refuge, all while stepping up its attacks. This is accomplished by destroying the Gaza Strip's fundamental infrastructure and supplies, rendering it uninhabitable. No term describes the daily atrocities done against humanity more accurately than "genocide."

After announcing that the Khan Yunis "Mawasi" camp was a safe haven for refugees and displaced people to take refuge from military activity, the Israeli occupation force set its sights on it. This led to one of the most horrifying massacres in the history of the Gaza Strip, which targeted the displaced people's tents at Mawasi Khan Yunis, in the southern part of the Strip. Hundreds of people were injured and hundreds of people died as a result of the intense fire that spread throughout the tents. Beyond the tents, the area, which is deemed "safe," is no larger than 1,000 square meters.

With almost 80,000 displaced people, it was packed. Swarms of quadcopter drones descended upon them after more than nine successive rockets dropping almost 500 kg of explosives dropped over their heads. The corpses of numerous rescue team members, including the director of the fire and rescue department, were left lying in the street for everyone to see. This neighborhood is closest to Nasser Medical Complex, which declared shortly after the massacre that it was about to declare itself out of service due to its inability to handle the large number of injured amidst a severe shortage of medical personnel and the tight siege imposed on medical supplies. This neighborhood is also adjacent to the sea and devoid of health and medical services.

Using eight MK 84 bombs manufactured in the United States that weighed 925 kg each and included 429 kg of high-explosive filler, Israel attacked the tents housing the displaced people in "Mawasi," resulting in the deaths and injuries of over 300 Palestinians. While some of the martyrs' remains were interred in the sand, others were broken into pieces and dispersed over vast expanses. These bombs have the power to leave a crater that is more than 10 meters deep and roughly 15 meters broad.

Depending on how high they were dropped and aimed, these potent bombs may pierce roughly 3 meters of concrete and 38 millimeters of metal. They have a fatal damage radius that is greater than 73 meters. Given that the American administration has approved the transfer of 500-pound bombs to Israel, America is a partner in this aggression.

Israel has demonstrated that international courts are blatantly biased and motivated solely by political demands and interests as it continues to commit the biggest crimes of genocide without facing consequences.
