Rafah Crossing Closure!

After the Nazi Israeli army seized control of the Rafah border crossing on May 7, it was entirely blocked, worsening the humanitarian crisis for Gaza's citizens and quickening the ongoing slaughter that has been going on since October 7.

What is the aim of Israel?

By blocking the Rafah crossing, Israel hopes to further tighten its grip and blockade on the Gaza Strip, with the ultimate goal of cutting off the Strip from the outside world. Many people die as a result of this move, which prevents the sick and injured from traveling to another country to receive life-saving medical care. Additionally, it stops the flow of medical and humanitarian supplies, which forces the few hospitals that are still open to treat injured patients to close. Israel continues to kill Palestinians in whatever manner it can, openly and shamelessly engaging in the most heinous acts of terrorism and criminality against them in public.

Due to the closure of the Rafah crossing, over 11,000 injured persons from the Israeli military onslaught are unable to get the essential medical care they require within the Gaza Strip. Furthermore, there is an urgent need for over 10,000 cancer patients to travel for treatment, including around 750 children and at least 2,000 patients with other ailments. The majority of hospitals have closed and the healthcare system has collapsed severely, leaving cancer patients in Gaza without access to hormonal or immunological treatments, not to mention the equipment needed to produce chemotherapy. These patients live in hospitals, clinics, or shelters that are not set up to care for cancer patients. The absence of medication affects elderly people who have long-term conditions like diabetes and hypertension, making the war more difficult and severe for them.
