Mass Graves in Gaza

For the first time since the start of Zionist rule of Arab Palestine, the problem of mass graves has surfaced in the Gaza Strip. This attests to the occupation's savagery and bloodshed during the genocide it has been executing in the Gaza Strip since October 7.

Following six months of hostilities, the Civil Defense in Gaza declared that they had found three mass graves in the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, in the southern region of the Strip, that had hundreds of bodies. Prior to that, two mass graves in the Shifa Medical Complex were also found; 33 victims slain by the Israeli occupation were recovered from the first mass grave, which was found in front of the specialist surgery building, and the second mass grave, which was found in front of the kidney building. Out of all the martyrs buried in the Nasser Medical Complex, 392 were found in one cemetery. In the following phase, the remaining two graves will be opened in order to recover the martyrs' bodies, make an effort to identify them, and then legally and properly rebury them. There are now 454 bodies of martyrs discovered from mass graves in the area, according to the director of the Gaza government's communications office.

He described the state of the bodies discovered in the Nasser Medical Complex, stating that they discovered bodies with their hands, legs, and feet tied; others had internal organs missing; still others had no skin; and some were missing heads or limbs. He concluded by saying that "everyone knows that the Israeli occupation has a bank of skins, 170 meters in size, and therefore steals the organs of the martyrs to feed it." Officials from the Civil Defense indicated that because the occupation altered and distorted the bodies' looks, they have only been able to identify 42% of the victims thus far.

At a news briefing on Thursday, April 25, the Palestinian Civil Defense reaffirmed that the retrieved bodies—some of which are children—show proof of Israeli crimes against humanity, including signs of torture and burial alive.

The Euro-Mediterranean Observatory uncovered a little-known facet of Israel's horrific levels of murder in the Gaza Strip through recorded statements and initial data gathered. This facet concerned the melting or vaporization of victims' corpses caused by Israeli warplanes dropping vacuum bombs on residential buildings.

Concerns over the nature of the bombs used in these strikes have been raised by a number of documented incidents of victims who perished in devastating Israeli raids on residential buildings and who vanished or may have turned to ashes when efforts were made to recover their corpses!
