"Israeli March Targets Civilians in Khan Yunis"
Pictures from an Israeli drone strike in Khan Yunis at the start of February last year showed four young Palestinians who were alone being pursued by multiple missiles. The first rocket killed two of them, while the third and fourth were killed by two more missiles each.
These were four young civilians without weapons who offered no threat to this ruthless occupation that chose to break all rules of war in public and murder them in cold blood. One of the worst and cruelest periods the Palestinian people have gone through since the Nakba is represented by these scenes. Following the initial targeting and the two young men's martyrdom, a third adolescent emerged, attempting to flee the missile hit site. Going back to where the initial missile landed, one of the four young people can be seen on the video still moving.
But instead of leaving the area, the drone kept going for the two surviving youngsters before starting to shell them again, which ultimately resulted in their martyrdom as well.
One of the bloodiest conflicts in contemporary history, the occupation used various forms of torture and murder to drive out the Palestinian people. With all of its violence and savagery, the occupation is committing crimes against humanity, violating every international law that exists. Tens of thousands of civilians, mostly women and children, are being left behind as a result of this genocide.
