Hospitals in the Gaza Strip are being intentionally and methodically targeted by Israel!
In the ongoing open massacre in the Gaza Strip, there has been aerial targeting, military siege, repeated incursions, and deliberate and systematic aggression against the medical sector. The Zionist oppression machine has shown no consideration for the medical personnel or the Strip's residents who have sought shelter in the hospitals' courtyards and corridors from the brutal Israeli aggression on the sector.
As stated in Article 18 of the Geneva Convention, which states that "Hospitals established in civilian areas, organized to give care to the wounded, sick, and elderly, shall be respected and protected at all times by the parties to the conflict," attacking hospitals during hostilities is forbidden by international law and is punishable as a "war crime." Article 19 also states: "The protection to which civilian hospitals are entitled shall not cease unless they are used to commit hostile acts."
The devastation caused by Israeli aggression to the Gaza Strip's healthcare system is unfathomable; as a result, medical professionals there are forced to operate on patients without anesthetic, utilizing flashlights from their phones or other devices. Because there are so few medical alternatives in the Gaza Strip, even if the injured people survive the bombardment, there is little chance that they will be saved.
In a total crime that defies description for its misery and brutality, Israel has devastated the whole healthcare system and blocked the admission of any humanitarian aid, including the medical supplies required for hospitals.
