Civil Defense Halts Operations in Northern Gaza

All three hospitals in northern Gaza—Kamale Adwan, Indonesian, and Al-Awda—have completely stopped operations as a result of continuous bombardment and blockade, in addition to the ruthless atrocities being carried out by the occupation. These facilities, which house a large number of patients and medical personnel who are unable to evacuate, are constantly under fire from Israeli drones and artillery that targets the hospitals and their surroundings. Israel has successfully halted ambulance and civil defense teams' operations.

In addition to announcing the termination of its limited rescue efforts by its personnel and ambulance teams for individuals targeted by Israeli airstrikes, the Civil Defense also declared the total stop of its services in northern Gaza. This implies that there won't be any immediate care, medical transport, or rescue for the injured at this time. In keeping with its stated goal of ridding the region of its inhabitants by force, murder, starvation, and terror as part of a genocide that has been going on in Gaza for more than a year, Israel's disruption of civil defense and ambulance operations, along with the closure of hospitals, essentially amounts to a formal and explicit decision to condemn thousands of injured and ill people to death.

Israeli forces used quadcopter drones on Wednesday night to target civil defense and medical service locations in the project area of Beit Lahia, forcing personnel to abandon their vehicles and basic rescue equipment for humanitarian assistance, according to a statement released by Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor. The employees were threatened with death within ten minutes if they did not comply with the order to proceed toward the Indonesian hospital, where Israeli forces had established a checkpoint.

Israeli actions to eradicate Palestinian life in the region, including targeting residents in their homes, on the streets, or during forced relocation, are reflected in the shutdown of Gaza's healthcare system, including its ambulance services. Additionally, the sick and injured are left behind in besieged hospitals that are denied supplies and are under evacuation orders from the Israeli military.

Israel is simply encouraged to carry out more atrocities by the UN and international organizations' silence, especially that of the Red Cross, WHO, and the UN, as well as their total abdication of their duty to stop these crimes or at the very least to categorically denounce what is taking place. For more than a year, Israel has been committing war crimes that go beyond the bounds of international law. In light of these developments, where is the world?
