220 days of aggression on Gaza

After storming UNRWA schools in Jabalia, northern Gaza Strip, on the 220th day of the conflict, Zionist army troops killed and arrested several Palestinians, driving thousands more to flee into the unknown under heavy artillery and aerial bombardment.

Six UNRWA-affiliated schools on School Street in the Jabalia camp, which was home to thousands of displaced people, were besieged by Zionist army forces amid constant artillery shelling and random shooting directed at the schools and their surroundings. Thousands were forced to escape the shooting and bombardment before Israeli forces arrived at the schools, taking nothing with them save their memories of their forced departure. Israeli troops are still targeting paramedic and rescue services, making it more difficult for them to do their jobs and recover the injured and martyrs—many of whom are reportedly in shelters, on nearby streets, and in close proximity to targeted residences—by limiting their capacity to do so, which will raise the number of those who have died and gone missing as a result of these heinous crimes. In order to forcefully evict residents from their homes and locations in a methodical and collective manner, all of Jabalia's neighborhoods and streets, as well as its camp, are being subjected to intense aerial and artillery bombardment and incendiary belts. This is being achieved by directly and violently bombing residential areas, shelters, and refugee centers.

The increase in violence and attacks in the northern Gaza Strip is occurring at the same time as a general increase in violence throughout the Gaza Strip, particularly against the "Zeitoun" neighborhood southeast of Gaza City and the city of Rafah in the south, where the invasion of the city is continuing and expanding the circle of forced displacement and the bombardment that has reached the depths and west of the city, in addition to the incursion westward along the border with Egypt. This is happening at a time when the health and humanitarian system is collapsing due to the suspension of aid delivery, including fuel, and the ongoing closure of crossings. Israel's onslaught against Gaza has broken every article and tenet of international law. What more could the world ask for?
